Environmental Policy

Respect for the Environment
At Lola 38 Hotel, we believe that earning respect in the world begins with respect for nature and people. Without compromising our guests’ comfort, we aim to keep water, electricity, energy, chemical use, and waste generation under control, minimizing any potential harm to the environment and natural resources.
Guided by the principles of sustainable tourism, we continuously improve our practices to reduce the use of natural resources and to minimize—wherever possible eliminate—the impact on soil, water, and air.
Aware that energy and water resources are limited, we regularly monitor consumption data, raise awareness among our team, and carry out ongoing efforts to improve energy efficiency. We manage our waste and hazardous waste in line with recycling principles, ensuring they are handled in ways that do not harm the environment. We also take care to protect plant and animal species native to our region.
Environmental Policy
Lola 38 Hotel places environmental sensitivity at the core of its operational approach. With this awareness, we aim to ensure that every stage of our operations—from our team members to our guests—develops in an environmentally responsible, sustainable, and restorative manner.
In line with this commitment, we develop planning and implementation strategies based on the principles below and pledge to continuously improve our environmental performance and potential across all areas.
As a nature-friendly boutique hotel, our environmental policy includes the following practices:
-
Using water-saving equipment to reduce overall water consumption without compromising health, hygiene, or guest satisfaction.
-
Prioritizing energy efficiency and supporting the use of clean and renewable energy sources wherever possible.
-
Contributing to energy and water conservation by changing towels, bed linen, and sheets only upon guest request.
-
Separating all waste on-site and ensuring proper recycling; recycling bins are available in common areas and on guest floors.
-
Selecting environmentally friendly products for shampoos, cleaning agents, detergents, disinfectants, and other consumables.
-
Raising staff awareness to detect and prevent water leaks, and encouraging guests to inform us should they notice any leaks.
-
Maintaining indoor air quality by ensuring that all guest rooms are non-smoking.
-
Reducing paper consumption by conducting communications and announcements primarily through digital channels.
-
Encouraging our guests to support and contribute to our sustainability efforts.
